Procedures
Procedures are clear and simple
Buyer provides LOI on letterhead together with full banking co-ordinates inclusive of name title and contact details of bank officer.
We prepare a full legal binding purchase/sale Contract for review, execution by the Buyer, scan and return by e-mail. Originals can be exchanged by courier or face to face
The Bank to Bank procedures commence.
PAYMENT CAPABILITY PREADVICE
A Pre-advice of commitment to pay from Buyer’s bank to one of the Seller’s banks
by secure SWIFT system by MT799 with DLC or RDLC or TT
together with collateral security by buyer’s choice of SBLC or BG
for 1 to 3 months value of sale(s) dependent of volume of product(s) purchased.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY CONFIRMED BY FULL BANK TO BANK UNDERTAKING
One of the Seller’s banks via either
an Asset Management Company based in the USA or
an UK Investment Bank being a Plc,
one of about only 50 Plcs licensed banks under UK Bank of England regulations
will confirm availability of product(s) and
RWA (ready willing and able) to supply both the PB (Performance Bond) and POP (proof of product) with full bank to bank undertaking by SWIFT MT799.
All via top world banks in Western Europe and the UK.
INSTRUMENT SECURITY
Commitment to pay together with
collateral security (payment default risk protection) from Buyer’s bank is transmitted/delivered to the Seller’s chosen bank.
DOCUMENTS PROVIDED SELLER/SELLERS BANK TO BUYER/BUYERS BANK
The balance, such as loading, SGS quality, quantity take place and relevant documents are supplied by Seller and/or Seller’s bank to Buyer and/or Buyer’s bank.
SUMMARY
In essence
Buyer’s bank only commits conditionally to provide payment by SWIFT MT799
Seller’s full bank undertaking to deliver POP and PB by SWIFT MT799.
Balance occurs bank to bank as agreed in any purchase/sale contract
Product is loaded and discharged at the relevant ports on an out turned barrels inside customs basis.
